Name
People treat domains like passports. They are not. A domain is a label in a public directory. It tells the browser where to ask for a page. It does not describe the company behind the page, the country where bits are stored, or the shape of the team.
CAOD uses a Swiss country-code name because it reads as precise and durable. The Swiss registry does not publish the holder. That is ordinary for .ch and it is not evasion. What we choose to publish about Tidalux Ltd lives on Company and in our own copy.
We also use UK and other domains where a product needs a local front door. Each name serves the app or service it points at. None of them is a datacentre diagram.
If you are writing about CAOD, cite the live URL of the thing you mean. Do not infer infrastructure from the suffix. For the marks that appear on our sites, see On colour and Marks. For the shorter note on the Swiss name alone, see The Swiss name.
